She had worn it everyday

since she had recieved

the gift

but then it finally. 

fell off on the floor

she searched until she found it

tucked it inside

a box she had bought

marked “Abundance”

the broken clasp 

and frayed strap

made the treasure 

all the more special

etched words

 that showed

an understanding

the giver had known

and although she didn’t have it on

she still felt the presence

of the one who gave the words

that were tucked away

in abundance.
