On the 4th of July, the. Independence day of these United States of America, I’m celebrating my independence- from rules and regulations that tried to bind me, from shame that tried to make me hide, from fear that tried to take away my courage, from superficial relationships into real, meaningful ones, from shadows to light, from wounds that threaten to reopen, and from anything that didn’t bring peace, grace, beauty, and love.

I celebrate the choices I can make-day in and day out-as an American, a business owner, and a free spirited woman of God.

I’m going to dance ..through the tears that threaten to roll down….I’m going to love even when it’s hard and I’m going to feel with both hands……and I’m going to v paint my world vibrant and fall head over heels in love with Independence..
