jumping in
making waves
playing games
kicking back
Far from it
Instead
She gathered words
jumped into pages
missed the waves
played word games
kicked back
with only the trees
keeping company
stars watching
fireflies listening
and she assumed nothing
far from it
because she knew better
than anyone what
happens when you assumed
instead of knew
