After all this time

What was real

Grounded deep and lifted high

Without any need to stand

Third wheel

Like she had

Way back in another time and place

When she stepped back in time

She did it with her eyes open wide

Knowing full well

She would find

Things much the same

Except for what was inside

She had been the one to change
