It seemed to fall

into her lap

Right then and there

She was captived

So she asked

And the answer was

“Oh, yes!”

Creativity begets creativity

How could she not

When it was right there

Like a gift that kept giving

It was a chance to uncover

Another side of her

Once again

A part she had pushed aside

Hidden for a long time

Almost like the drawing

Covering up

Parts of who she was

Yet here is was

Discovered by chance

An invitation

So to speak

To write the words

Fill in the space

Take part in the dance

Of creativity
