Trust

While shopping at Hobby Lobby with my Riven on our date, she found this black stone with the word , “Trust” engraved in white.

She asked me what it said and, as I explained what trust meant, I realized how important trust is to me

Trust.

Such a simple word.

Such a divine feeling.

Sacred, even.

Friday morning, July 19. I reached for this stone, which was laying with several other things I had bought for the new location.feeling as if God was telling me to carry it close as a reminder that I could and should trust more.

Trust more.

I’ve always had a hard time trusting.

Other people, that is.

I trust my instincts.

I trust my intuition.

Now I’m trusting much more.

Trusting God.

Trusting my tribe of friends.

Trusting my footing.

Trusting my clients.

Trusting that the money will come in.

Trusting that I keep all of us fully booked.

Trusting that things will fall into place just right.

Trusting that I’ll find the treasures to make it feel like mine.

Trusting that there will be enough.

I’m not scared.

Isn’t that funny?

I’m confident.

I’m looking at signs and seeing how everything falls into place and I’m holding on to that little rock.

Just in case.
