A part of doing bodywork means becoming one with whomever is on my table.
Sometimes it leaves me raw and open.
Sometimes it brings me back to the ragged edge.
Sometimes it lifts me up and fills me with so much energy.
It is what it is.
I’ve been doing Lomi Chakra sessions for several weeks and the breakthrough for both my client and me is so powerful, so unexpected, so real and beautiful.
It isn’t a neat little package. It isn’t easily explained. It doesn’t fit into any ordered plans or textbooks.
It’s sacred and symbolic.
Revealing and affirming.
Chaotic and soothing, at the same time.
Each of us are pulling things from deep inside and they are coming out in different ways.
Creativity.
Movement.
Awakenings.
Focus.
We are finding signs and words, pictures and tokens. Things that make perfect sense to us anyways.
It’s the seven chakras.
Seven sins.
Seven times seventy.
It’s butterflies and trees.
Roots and branches.
Reds, yellows, browns, greens.
It’s tears.
Surrender.
Laughter.
Acceptance.
Great grief and great hope.
Received and given.
It’s a step by step journey.. .. it’s only beginning.
It will never be completely finished because it’ll always be changing but it’s a damn beautiful thing to be part of.
